We try to eat healthy, and it is hard in a household of sweet eaters. I don't make desserts all that often because we just don't need to have them in the house. I saw something one day about Pink Lemonade Cake and since Jeremy is a pink lemonade lover I thought he might like it. I found a
recipe from The Deen Brothers (Paula Deen's sons) that sounded good and pretty easy so I tried it. It turned and really good, especially if you enjoy something tart.
The funny thing about the men in my house is they always battle over the desserts. They look through the cookies for which has the most chocolate chips, or they try to pick the cupcake with the most icing. Jeremy tries to put his "claim" on those that he wants later. I was getting ready this morning and heard them battling over who claimed what cupcake. In our house, it doesn't matter the age... something sweet to eat turns everyone into children!
