October is one of my favorite months of the year. I love to see the leaves changing and the air feels so crisp. Last October I was fortunate to go to the beach with my friend Crystal and her daughters for a
girl's weekend. I had never been at that time of year before and it was awesome. Most of the time I'm there in the summer and our family trips in the fall are usually to the mountains. But it was so nice, I think I would take an October trip to the beach again.
Of course the humidity was low, which was nice, but the sunlight seemed different too. The sand dunes were covered in yellow wild flowers, and I saw a lot more Egrets around than I usually do. We had one beautiful sunny day and one cloudy day. I was surprised how many people were sunbathing and getting the the ocean. That water was way to cold for my taste!
